The mystery-thriller series is set during the High Republic era, approximately 100 years before the events of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. The Acolyte follows a respected Jedi as she investigates a series of crimes that threaten the stability of the Republic. As she delves deeper into the mystery, she uncovers a dark and dangerous force that could plunge the galaxy into chaos.
A Star-Studded Cast
The series stars Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Jodie Turner-Smith. Stenberg plays a former Padawan who reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate the crimes, while Jung-jae plays a mysterious stranger who may be connected to the dark force. Moss and Turner-Smith play powerful Jedi who are also investigating the crimes.
A Thrilling Adventure
The trailer promises a thrilling adventure full of action, suspense, and mystery. The series will explore the origins of the Sith and the rise of the dark side, as well as the challenges faced by the Jedi during this tumultuous time.
Coming Soon to Disney+
